Made on street-found wood with acrylic, paper and printed graphics, this work is from the series The Maps of Time and Rome. "The golden radiance of daytime emerges in Centro Gold, a work expressing a golden idealization of the city," wrote Camilla Pigato in her curatorial essay about the work.
Each piece in the series shows layers of Nolli's 18th-century map of Rome with peeling walls and weathered surfaces, a city mapped through the geography of the soul of the artist.
The series has been exhibited at the American Embassy in Rome, at Margutta Home (Rome) and Coldwell Banker Gruppo Boldoni (Rome).
