I had the privilege of art directing the exhibit Laudato Sie, in Rome at Palazzo Braschi. As it is a show of restored manuscripts, I was able to visit the Sacro Convento Library in Assisi where they were stored, and peruse them for key images. This iconic is from one of the images I personally adored, but one that did not make the “cut” of official show imagery. The manuscripts were full of these treasures, which I am thrilled for the world to witness in this landmark show. This particular image comes from a manuscript about astronomy.
